Prof Emily Broad Leib (Clinical Professor of Law) shares with Times Evoke regarding the growing trend in India towards the donation particularly of prepared food in India and mentions that Groups like Zomato have a network of volunteers recovering food from Universities ,weddings and events. She also has good things to say about the Foods Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) where they also try to ensure that edible food is donated and not wasted. She also goes on to mention about what else needs to be done.
